Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of progressive transportation technician experience with a state highway agency or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of highway construction materials and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadways and construction materials to ensure contract conformance.
• May perform project engineering duties on smaller projects.
• Record field measurements and prepare required documentation.
