Good Samaritan Inver Grove Heights is seeking a Nutrition & Food Services leader to manage daily operations, oversee menu planning, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance in a long-term care setting. Qualifications

• Advanced education preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience required in the area of hire.
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification or a registered dietitian preferred. If necessary, acquire Serv Safe certification within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department.
• Oversees dietary and related food services functions and menu planning.
• Monitors dispensing and distribution of food and related supplies.
• Provides knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and continuous improvement.
• Assists with budgeting across departments, including staffing hours and department expenses.
• Trains staff and supports development while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Collaborates to measure employee performance and foster teamwork.
