Job summary

Good Samaritan in Inver Grove Heights, MN, is seeking a leader to manage the Nutrition and Food Services department. You will oversee menu planning, food service operations, budgeting, and staff coordination to ensure exceptional dietary services in a senior care setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality, training staff, and coordinating with information services and other departments to implement changes while upholding regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced education preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the area of hire.
• CDM certification or a registered dietitian preferred. If necessary, acquire Serv Safe certification within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department.
• Oversee dietary and menu planning and related food services functions.
• Monitor dispensing and distribution of food and related supplies.
• Assist with department budgets and staffing considerations.
• Train and mentor staff; ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Education

Advanced education preferred

Minimum three years’ experience in the area of hire
