Job summary

Good Samaritan in Inver Grove Heights, MN, seeks a Nutrition and Food Services leader to manage day-to-day operations, oversee diet and menu planning, and ensure high-quality food service in a long-standing nonprofit senior care setting.

This full-time role requires at least three years of experience, with advanced education preferred and certifications such as CDM or RD considered a plus; Serv Safe within a year is encouraged. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced education preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience required in the area of hire.
• CDM certification or a registered dietitian preferred. If necessary, acquire Serv Safe certification within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Nutrition and Food Services department.
• Oversees diet and menu planning and monitors dispensing and distribution of food and supplies.
• Maintains quality management practices and supports continuous improvement.
• Assists with budgeting and coordinating department budgets and staffing.
