Health and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee the facility's food service program, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and drive safety and quality across dietary operations.

The CDM will lead a team, manage records, training, and budgeting, and serve as a liaison between dietary staff, administrators, and residents to create a positive dining experience while maintaining high standards of sanitation and infection-control procedures

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• CDM or CFSM designation required per CMS and/or state/county law.
• ServSafe Certification required (Food Handler or Manager Certification, as applicable).
• Completion of an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.
• Two years of experience in large-scale food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency for records and reports.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of food service operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage budgeting, records, inventory, personnel, and equipment; generate reports in a timely manner.
• Train dietary staff and supervise to maintain QCIs and service quality.
• Provide operational support by training staff and covering dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Coordinate communication between dietary staff, clients, administrators, and residents.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, PPE usage, cleaning guidelines, handwashing, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain consistent attendance, arrive on time, and respond to paging system as required.
• Create a positive dining environment for residents and guests.
