Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the Dietary Department, ensuring high-quality food service, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and strong team leadership in a skilled healthcare setting.

The CDM will supervise staff, ensure sanitation and safety, collaborate with the Registered Dietitian, and contribute to audits and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Current CDM certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of dietary management experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation Center, Hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dietary regulations, sanitation standards, and food service operations.
• Experience supervising and leading dietary staff.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of CMS, state survey requirements, and long-term care regulations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility regulations related to food service and sanitation.
• Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure residents receive appropriate nutritional care.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor dietary staff.
• Maintain food quality standards and resident satisfaction with meals and dining services.
• Monitor food production, meal service, and portion control.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls.
• Ensure proper food storage, sanitation, infection control, and safety practices.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as needed.
• Maintain departmental records, audits, and documentation.
• Assist with survey preparation and ensure ongoing regulatory readiness.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment within the Dietary Department.
