Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee nutrition services for our residents. You will lead dietary staff, plan nutritionally balanced menus, ensure food safety compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support residents’ health goals.

This full-time role requires experience in long-term care, a CDM credential (preferred), and strong leadership and organizational skills to maintain high-quality dining and nutrition services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care setting required.
• CDM credential preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary practices.
• Ability to lead and manage dietary staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nutritionally balanced menus meeting residents' needs.
• Manage dietary staff, provide training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in managing the dietary department budget and control costs.
• Engage with residents to enhance dining satisfaction.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff for resident health goals.
• Maintain records of menus, dietary assessments, and compliance.
