Big Bend Woods Health and Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead dietary services in our long-term care setting. You will develop individualized nutrition plans and ensure meals meet medical and personal needs.

You will supervise food service teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance with health codes, document in EMR/EHR, and provide nutrition coaching to residents while staying current with dietetics trends.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in dietary management within long-term or assisted living facilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans that incorporate residents' dietary requirements, medical conditions, and personal preferences.
• Supervise and manage food service teams, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff to ensure high performance and safety standards.
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with health regulations and food safety practices.
• Manage departmental budgets including procurement, inventory control, and cost analysis.
• Ensure compliance with health codes, nutrition standards, and regulatory policies for food service in long-term care.
• Conduct patient nutrition assessments and coordinate with healthcare professionals for care plan adjustments.
• Utilize EHR systems for documentation of dietary plans, resident progress, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen by enforcing sanitation protocols and routine cleanliness inspections.
• Provide health coaching to residents on nutrition topics to promote healthy eating and wellness.
• Stay informed about trends in dietetics and nutrition practices to enhance service quality.
