Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a dedicated Certified Dietary Manager to deliver high-quality nutritional care. This full-time role emphasizes menu planning, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance to promote residents' health and dining satisfaction.

Experience in long-term care is required or preferred; CDM credential is valued. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care setting is required.
• CDM credential preferred; Dining RD experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nutritionally balanced menus meeting regulatory standards.
• Manage dietary staff including training, guidance and evaluations.
• Ensure food safety, proper storage, preparation and serving practices.
• Assist in managing department budget, control costs and minimize waste.
• Foster positive dining experiences by gathering resident feedback and adjustments.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy to support residents' health goals.
• Maintain records of menus, dietary assessments, and compliance.
