Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Commercial Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks, transporting waste and recyclables to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities. The role involves precise backing maneuvers, safety compliance, and coordinating with managers to ensure timely pickups.

Applicants must hold a CDL with air-brake endorsement (A or B) and be legally eligible to work in the United States. Excellent driving record and ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely in accordance with WM safety rules, OSHA and DOT requirements
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor promptly
• Attend required training and participate in route optimization efforts
• Communicate with Operations Manager/Dispatch to ensure timely service
• Load and unload containers as needed and maintain clean work areas
