Waste Management is hiring CDL drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks across residential and commercial routes. The role involves pickups of waste or recyclables, with loads up to 1,000+ pounds, requiring skilled backing maneuvers and careful navigation of urban environments.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, report safety concerns, and follow scheduled routes. The position requires a CDL with air-brake endorsement and a minimum of 18 years old, with a commitment to safety and customer

Qualificações

• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year military driving within last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the location.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical.
• CDL Class A with air-brake endorsement or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement.

Responsabilidades

• Operates heavy-duty trucks delivering to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks.
• Reports unsafe situations to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Participates in training programs and meetings as required.
• Works with Operations Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Notifies of incidents, service interruptions, or safety hazards.
• Completes end-of-day documentation and check-out process.
