Job summary

Waste Management is seeking drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks across various routes, delivering waste or recyclables to disposal or transfer facilities. The role requires safe maneuvering in heavy traffic and residential areas, with backing skills essential. Multiple truck types, including roll-off, may be involved.

Required CDL A or B with air-brake end. No experience needed beyond meeting age and eligibility criteria; pre-employment screenings are mandatory.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening including drug screen and physical.
• CDL Class A or CDL Class B with air-brake endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks in compliance with safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe situations or service-related issues promptly.
• Assist Route Manager to improve route efficiencies.
• Dump receptacles completely and leave customer locations clean.
