Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Commercial Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks with lift attachments for waste and recycling pickups. The role requires safe driving, routine inspections, and strict adherence to DOT rules while navigating busy streets and tight spaces.

You will work under the Route Manager, ensure proper container handling, and maintain accurate service records. The job involves outdoor work, physical tasks up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL with air brake endorsement is required
• 21+ years old
• Acceptable driving record
• DOT pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks with lift attachment per Safety and Life Critical Rules
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks
• Report unsafe situations to Route Manager or Dispatch
• Attend training programs and meetings as required
• Maintain route efficiencies and communicate customer requests
• Ensure containers are dumped and site is left clean
• Submit customer tickets when yardage must be removed
• Position containers to avoid blocking driveways or traffic
• Complete end-of-day documentation and checks
• Assist other drivers to meet customer needs
• Maintain positive relations with customers, vendors, and management
