Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site in Ohio. The role requires a clean driving record, a CDL with passenger endorsement, and adherence to LifeWise safety policies.

The ideal candidate will be mature, punctual and committed to a local church as described in our beliefs. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, ensure student safety, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• CDL license required with passenger endorsement.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Age 21–80; 75+ must submit CDL documents annually.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Assist students entering/exiting and enforce safety rules.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom activities if agreed.
