Qualifications

• Must be a mature Christian with agreement to LifeWise Academy beliefs
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise Academy beliefs
• CDL with passenger-vehicle endorsement (P) required
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years
• Background check and drug testing required
• Yearly Physician's Statement if medically required
• Age 21-80 years

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bus; perform regular inspections
• Refuel the vehicle as needed; enforce safety rules for students
• Assist students entering or exiting the vehicle; demonstrate calm, caring demeanor
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed with the director
