Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks a CDL bus driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from LifeWise sites. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and has a clean driving record.

This part-time, non-exempt position requires CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement; background checks and drug testing; and a commitment to LifeWise Academy’s faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• CDL with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) is required.
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
