Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio is hiring a part-time CDL bus driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. You will protect student safety, maintain bus cleanliness, and perform pre-trip inspections.

The role requires a CDL with passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background and drug tests. A church affiliation is requested, and compliance with LifeWise policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement required; school bus endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety; perform regular inspections.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the vehicle; be calm and caring.
• Complete LifeWise training; volunteer in LifeWise classroom as agreed.
