Job summary

Republic Services in Redmond, WA seeks a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. They ensure vehicle readiness and regulatory compliance, completing daily VCRs and reporting safety issues.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operation inspections, servicing routes per the dispatcher, loading refuse, and maintaining professional interaction with customers. Minimum requirement is a Class B CDL with air brakes.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle according to policy.
• Safely operate the heavy truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues on a daily basis.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them as required.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and maintain vehicle readiness.
