Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance, completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

The role emphasizes safe driving, on-time service to each customer, and accurate documentation of loads and productivity. A Class B CDL with air brakes is required, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route to the disposal site.
• Load refuse, operate compactor, dispose of material at the designated facility.
• Interact with customers, dispatchers and others in a courteous, professional manner.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports.
