Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily VCRs to report any defects for timely repair.

The role requires a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and involves pre/post-trip inspections, route adherence, safe operation of the truck, and courteous customer interaction with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Safe driving on designated routes.
• Excellent customer service while on route.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure safety.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service each customer as identified on route sheet.
• Load refuse and operate compactor per safety policies.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers and others daily.
• Maintain route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other required reports.
• Follow all required safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
