Job summary

Republic Services in Redmond, Oregon seeks a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers. The role requires completing daily vehicle condition reports and adhering to safety standards.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, service routes, load/compact waste, and maintain strong customer relations while following company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Demonstrated ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Safely operate heavy truck on route and service customers as assigned.
• Load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of material at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Complete route sheets, VCRs and other required reports.
