Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services to customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly.

Key duties include pre/post trip inspections, route service, loading waste, and courteous customer interactions while adhering to safety policies and company procedures. Strong time management is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to operate a heavy truck safely and efficiently.
• Comfort with completing vehicle condition reports daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely drive designated routes to service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Maintain required productivity and report on route performance.
