Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers on designated routes. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, load refuse, operate the compactor, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining productive routes, reporting vehicle conditions, and interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers to meet service expectations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the collection truck along the designated route and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and complete required reports and productivity sheets.
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in the ReSOP program.
• Demonstrate good time management, reliability and teamwork on every shift.
