FedEx Freight in Kingman, AZ, is seeking a driver to pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations. The role requires a Class A CDL with hazmat/tank endorsements and DOT regulatory knowledge.

You must meet MVR standards and may perform city/dock duties as needed. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, documentation, logs, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements (automatic transmission restriction allowed).
• 1 year experience within most recent 3 years, or successful completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Must meet all DOT FMC 391 requirements.
• LCV qualifications for AZ, CO, FL, ID, IN, KS, MT, ND, NV, OH, OK, OR, SD and UT.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles (and triples where applicable).
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or problems to dispatch.
• May be required to perform chaining of tires.
• May perform city driver or dock duties as needed.
• Load and unload freight as required.
