Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-points. Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailers, performing daily inspections, and ensuring accurate documentation while adhering to hazardous materials rules.

The role requires an active CDL-A with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, plus DOT-compliant driving history. Overnight travel and variable hours may be required.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required with double/triple and hazmat endorsements.* Automatic transmission restriction allowed.
• 1 year experience within last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements and have acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Complete required documentation and logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate issues.
