FedEx Freight is seeking a CDL driver to pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations.

Role requires a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements, plus up-to-date MVR. Pre-trip inspections, logkeeping, and dispatcher communications are essential. Overnight stays may be required; loading/unloading duties may apply.

Qualificações

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements; automatic transmission restriction allowed.
• 1 year experience within the most recent 3 years, or successful completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet all DOT regulatory requirements under 49 CFR Part 383/391.
• LCV qualifications apply in listed states and certifications for those routes.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies; verify documentation.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and comply with regulations.
• Communicate with dispatch about delays, arrivals, or equipment issues.
• Load and unload freight as needed; follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
