Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a responsible Residential Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes in Sanford, NC. You will drive a residential/recycling truck, load materials, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime may be required; you will report to the supervisor and work with a team to ensure timely, courteous

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate residential / recycling truck on curbside and/or backdoor routes.
• Load waste and recyclables into vehicle and ensure proper containment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain route quality and comply with safety standards.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor and repair staff.
