Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently perform curbside waste collection and related duties. You will operate a residential/recycling truck, load materials, and maintain accurate route documentation while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a CDL, and at least one year of commercial driving experience. Expect overtime and a focus on customer service and safety on every route.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet criteria for safety-sensitive functions.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes.
• Load waste/recyclables and operate vehicle compactor as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Identify prohibited items and manage route quality.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior; wear PPE at all times.
