Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a Residential Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables on curbside or backdoor routes, operating a rear/side-load truck and maintaining high service standards.

You will perform inspections, report issues, and support route efficiency while following safety protocols and company policies. CDL required or in CDL training, with a minimum of one year driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CDL required or in CDL school.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria and operate truck safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on assigned routes.
• Load waste/recyclables, compact material, and ensure route quality.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate mechanical issues to supervisor; maintain clean vehicle.
• Adhere to safety policies and company directives; work overtime if needed.
