Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Industry certification in the field of instruction, or equivalent knowledge.
• 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• 5 years of industry experience in instruction.
• 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver/Driver Trainer.
• Knowledge of faculty development and instructional improvement.
• Strong motivation, dedication, and professionalism for teaching.
• Ability to engage adult learners and work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for the CDL program and curriculum development.
• Hires, orients, develops, evaluates, and recognizes Driver Trainers.
• Leads regular faculty meetings and ensures program quality and compliance.
• Monitors student progress and advises during provisional periods and career questions.
• Maintains records of interactions with students and staff, and analyzes program data.
• Collaborates with Home Office to implement curriculum revisions and master scheduling.
• Oversees faculty performance, development, and coaching.
• Participates in recruitment and coordination with account management for student enrollment.
