Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Program Director to lead the CDL program and guide curriculum development from revision through implementation. You will train the Account management group on program materials and support new student orientation.

You will hire and mentor Driver Trainers, convene regular faculty meetings, monitor student progress, and advise students during provisional periods while addressing career questions and complaints to promote student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• 5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
• 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
• Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver /Driver Trainer.
• Knowledge of federal/state institutional regulations and accreditation standards.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CDL Program and oversee curriculum implementation.
• Hire, orient, develop, and evaluate Driver Trainers within programs of study.
• Lead regular faculty meetings and monitor student progress and retention.
• Advise students during provisional periods and address academic concerns.
• Coordinate program effectiveness data and prepare accreditation reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with campus goals.
