Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL License required.
• 3 years of academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• 5 years of industry instruction experience.
• 2 years in management or supervisory role.
• Ability to qualify as a CDL Driver/Driver Trainer.
• Knowledge of faculty development, reporting and standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CDL program and oversee curriculum and instruction.
• Hire, orient, develop, evaluate, and recognize Driver Trainers.
• Attend weekly faculty meetings and report on program performance.
• Support student advising and retention initiatives and monitor progress.
• Coordinate interdepartmental activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Continuous improvement of the program with data analysis.
