Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Program Director in Roanoke, VA, reporting to the Area Manager/Regional Program Director. You will lead the CDL program, develop and implement curriculum, train product knowledge for Account management, and engage with potential students during orientation.

You will hire, orient, develop, evaluate, and recognize Driver Trainers, convene regular faculty meetings, and monitor student progress.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Industry certification in the field of instruction or equivalent knowledge.
3 years of post-secondary instructional experience.
5 years of industry instruction experience.
2 years in a management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

I. Provides Services to Students: advise, tutor referrals, retention initiatives, office hours, respond to questions, refer non-academic help, monitor absences.
II. Oversees Status of Curriculum, Materials, Equipment, and Facilities: SME for curriculum, participation in revision, implement new materials, schedule input.
III. Oversees Faculty Performance and Development: recruit and onboard faculty, supervise drivers trainers, maintain files, coach instructors, run meetings, training.
IV. Leads and Develops Others: define roles, monitor performance, drive teamwork.
