Zusammenfassung

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, transporting waste or recyclables to post-collection facilities.

You will service multiple customers per day and ensure proper transfer of loads to designated facilities. The role requires a CDL, at least 1 year of driving experience or CDL school certificate, and the ability to work in a safety-conscious, physically demanding environment.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate is preferred.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria according to company standards.
• Ability to safely operate the truck and equipment.

Aufgaben

• Drive front-load or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste or recyclables.
• Open containers and position cans for dumping as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and public; report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and work site; ensure safety at customer locations.
• Log route productivity and vehicle condition as required by law or policy.
• Navigate routes using maps and GPS to reach service addresses.
• Follow safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures during operations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
