GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a diligent driver to operate residential/recycling collection trucks on assigned routes, ensuring safe loading and debris containment. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, on-route problem reporting, and maintaining clean vehicles.

You will work with a team to meet route standards while adhering to all safety policies. Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and at least one year of commercial driving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet criteria for safety-sensitive functions per company standards.
• Must demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on the specified route.
• Load solid waste, yard waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete required reports.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor/mechanic promptly.
• Maintain route quality and comply with safety policies and procedures.
