Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and service customers on assigned routes. You will ensure regulatory compliance, interact courteously with customers and dispatchers, and complete VCRs and route sheets daily.

The position emphasizes safety, on-time service, and adherence to company standards while supporting Republic Services’ commitments to safe and responsible waste management.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Demonstrated safe driving record and ability to perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate the truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Identify and report unsafe waste containers and spills.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and company procedures.
