Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services for customers. The role requires ensuring vehicle safety compliance, completing daily vehicle condition reports, and adhering to all safety standards and regulations on every trip.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-operation inspections, following routes accurately, loading waste, interacting with customers, and maintaining productive, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement is required.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Strong customer service and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate a heavy truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and reports.
