Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver-CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, complete daily vehicle condition reports, and follow all state and federal regulations while on route.

You will perform vehicle inspections, service customers per route sheets, report safety issues, and maintain productivity records.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them accordingly.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
