Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operation inspections, route adherence, loading refuse, and professional customer interactions. A CDL B with air brakes endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely operate a heavy truck on designated routes and service customers on schedule.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
