Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly.

The role requires passing pre- and post-trip inspections, loading waste, driving the route, and maintaining productivity while upholding safety policies and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the route and service each customer as identified.
• Load refuse using the packer, dispose at designated facilities, and adhere to safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to maintain timely service.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
