Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver to safely collect waste and recyclables from curbside and backdoor routes in Sedalia, Missouri.

You will operate residential collection trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, load waste, and maintain routes while upholding safety standards and customer service. The role may include overtime and requires PPE and professional conduct on routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required.
• Ability to safely operate a residential collection truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on defined routes.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain daily reports.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate any vehicle issues to supervisor and mechanics.
