Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Residential Driver in Kansas City to safely and efficiently provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes.

You will operate residential/recycling collection trucks and ensure courteous service to customers. Responsibilities include loading materials, performing safety inspections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting routing efficiency while following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
• Able to drive commercial vehicles and operate waste collection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect solid waste and/or recyclables.
• Load waste or recyclables into the rear or side of the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and complete route documentation.
• Communicate vehicle or equipment issues to supervisor or mechanic.
• Maintain route quality standards and support routing efficiency.
• Work overtime as needed and attend safety/branch meetings.
