Job summary

Eagle Transport Corporation is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our on-site Human Resources team. You will identify, attract, and hire talent for driver roles across the Southeast and Texas.

You will partner with hiring managers, pre-screen applicants, and manage communications across multiple channels to ensure a premier applicant experience and compliance with FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Proactively work with hiring managers to fill positions with best-qualified candidates.
• Speak with applicants to discuss job openings, responsibilities, and hiring process.
• Pre-screen incoming applications and refer to hiring managers.
• Respond to applicant inquiries by phone, email, text, social media, or other systems.
• Proactively source candidate leads from online resources, partner agencies, and schools.
• Track all applicant interactions in the applicant tracking system.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates through hiring process and onboarding.
• Grow and manage relationships with external recruitment partners and schools.
• Plan and attend job fairs, schools, and other recruitment events.
• Design and manage job postings and promote via social media and internal channels.
• Coordinate DOT hiring process including background checks, MVR reviews, verifications, testing, and FMCSA DOT files.
