Job summary

Waste Management seeks a Commercial Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks, loading containers and transporting waste or recyclables to designated facilities. You will back up with precision, conduct DVIR inspections, and maintain route discipline while adhering to safety rules.

Eligible applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, able to pass pre-employment screenings, and hold a CDL with air-brake endorsement (Class A or B).

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and physical.
• CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks for loading, transport to disposal/transfer/recycle facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Back up with safe, timely pickups and maintain route discipline.
• Follow safety rules and report incidents or hazards promptly.
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and cooperate with the Route Manager.
