Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver with a CDL-B license to operate a collection truck and provide reliable waste removal services. The role emphasizes pre- and post-trip inspections, adherence to safety standards, and courteous interaction with customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include loading waste, operating the packer, completing VCRs and productivity sheets, and maintaining vehicle readiness to minimize downtime. Strong safety and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety, fluid levels, tires, and safety equipment are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the collection truck along the designated route and service each customer as identified on the route sheet.
• Load refuse and operate the packer/compactor in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely and professional service.
• Complete required reports and forms (VCRs, route/productivity sheets) and adhere to productivity standards.
