Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a dedicated transportation driver to safely transport residents to social events and appointments. You will manage loading and unloading, operate a bus or car, and perform basic maintenance while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have a CDL and extensive driving experience, with knowledge of local routes. This on-site role offers benefits and a stable work schedule in Foster City, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five or more years of driving experience and knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance programs.
• Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Ability to operate 7–16 passenger bus and related equipment.
• Familiarity with local streets within an 8-mile radius.
• Must meet Atria Motor Vehicle Record Policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transportation for residents.
• Drive to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicles safely.
• Secure wheelchairs and use restraining devices as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep logs.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents’ apartments.
• Support Engage Life Department in activities as needed.
• Submit travel expenses to the business office daily.
