Job summary

QXO is hiring a CDL Driver to safely transport building materials to customer locations. Duties include loading/unloading, securing loads, and ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to safety and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ideal candidates have 12+ months of commercial driving experience, a valid CDL Class A or B, and the ability to lift 75 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load accuracy
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe loading/unloading environment
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and wear PPE
