Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A) to safely deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites, combining driving with loading, unloading, and securing loads. Depending on the unit, deliveries may include oversized or specialized shipments.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused and reliable in a fast-paced environment. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, plan routes, maintain logs, and uphold DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A or B license and clean driving record.
• Experience with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate mobile apps, GPS systems, and electronic delivery tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and maneuver loads safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely to customer sites.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations.
• Load, secure, and unload materials using proper techniques.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address issues.
