FedEx Freight, Inc. is hiring a driver to operate tractor-trailers, pick up and deliver between service centers, and perform related dock duties. The role requires a Class A CDL or CLP, strong safety practices, and the ability to conduct pre/post-trip inspections.

Expect to log hours, follow dispatch instructions, and comply with DOT hazmat rules as needed. Overnight stays may be required depending on schedules. Pay range is listed below with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CDL or CLP before entering job classification.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre/post/inter-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Hook/unhook trailers and attach dollies as required.
• Follow dispatch instructions and document required reports.
• Comply with DOT regs and hazmat requirements where applicable.
