Job summary

Responsibilities include securing freight, documenting reports, and coordinating with dispatch on delays and deliveries. A Class A CDL or CLP is required, along with a clean MVR and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL or a commercial learner permit (CLP).
• Must have an acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulatory requirements under FMC regulations.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip/inter-trip inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and convertor dollies.
• Handle freight with forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Secure freight using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Verify documentation and reports.
